A large number of volunteers are needed to run the festival and this is one of the most important roles. Primarily it will involve monitoring door entry and selling tickets for the events, collecting money at pub song and music sessions where necessary, in the town centre and on the Recreation Ground, helping on the camp site with arrivals, manning the Ticket Office and generally helping out where necessary. You will be working with other volunteers, committee members and the charity's Trustees and reporting to the Chief Steward. If you have any queries, please email us on chiefsteward@tenterdenfolkfestival.org.uk.
In return for approx. ten hours of stewarding over the extended weekend you will receive a free weekend ticket and free camping.
We are currently building up a team of stewards and if you would like to get involved, please click on the link to download the Stewards Application Form, and email the completed form to us at chiefsteward@tenterdenfolkfestival.org.uk.
